Peter David is the shit when it comes to fan literature. His novelation of In the Beginning was what really started my love for B5.

TRUTH. His Star Trek novels are fantastic, and I'm quite fond of his original stuff too. I kinda want to be him when I grow up.

I've never read his original stuff. Lack of free time and all. It kind of makes me sad that he's better known for expanding on the works of others. He's such a fantastic writer.
