Hey so guess what? I'm definitely writing a paper, right now, about hegemony theory, family values, and Battlestar Galactica.

And LOL, family values on BSG. I'm sure there are very serious things to say about it, but at first thought, all I can think about is what an incredibly frakked up, dysfunctional family Galactica is.

Actually, the professor has never seen BSG. I've been working on that, though.

I'm having a lot of fun with it XD There's really almost too much to say...

That was why I loved cultural studies. I don't know if I ever told you, but I did my senior project on sexuality and gender roles in The Kids in the Hall, and the same day I presented my project, someone else presented his project about vampirism in homosexual literature and visual media.

*sigh* I miss those days.

It's really kind of awesome.

Ha. You didn't tell me, but that's kind of amazing XD I really love talking about this stuff in class, even though sometimes the incessant analysis and blaming everything on white men gets me a little down.
