This movie seriously, and with complete aplomb, combines Rufus Sewell with an extreme sports movie with a terrorist-fighting action blockbuster. There's skiing, skiing before an oncoming avalanche, skiing while getting shot at, skiing while filming everyone else skiing with a camcorder AND - this might be the greatest part - SKIING BEFORE AN ONCOMING AVALANCHE WHILE GETTING SHOT AT AND RECORDING EVERYONE ELSE WITH A CAMCORDER.

I feel like I have just been touched by the essence of epic.

Rufus Sewell, skiing, fighting terrorists -- I see absolutely nothing wrong with any of that.

Oh. My. God.

I'm not sure if I love this movie or hate it. I mean, why would a Serbian war criminal hide near the former Yugoslavian border (and Austria haven't been anywhere near the Yugoslavian border since the end of WW1).

But there's avalanches, and skiing. It's all sorts of yummie.

I know! I actually wasn't paying enough attention to silly things like country names or like facts or plot. But Rufus Sewell was consistently pretty and British during the whole thing, and there was mild film geekery and avalanches and I just. I feel like if I rate it on Netflix either way it's going to mess up my recommendations for months.

I rated it 10 on imdb, although it did have a 4.1 average there.

Something else about the movie, it made me want to rewatch vertical limit.
