I'm looking into buying a car, and it's like a thousand dollars cheaper to buy a manual, and I'd have to learn on it first, and I'm terrified to learn on the hills of doom around here.
I think the scary part was when I accidentally zoomed backwards while backing out of a parking lot when the car unexpectedly VERY MUCH SO went into gear.
Yeah. I think I'm going to end up liking manual better but - aaaaaaa.
Heh. My boyfriend drives a manual and I can't cope with it at all. Of course, he's driven it for so long that he can't cope with my automatic transmission. So I suppose that's an indication that you'll hopefully be able to pick it up and live with it. (I'll stick with my automatic, though...) Good luck!!!

I know someone who had to learn how to drive one in Friday rush hour traffic in Paris.
She said that, by the time she'd gotten off the Champs Elysee, she'd gotten the hang of it.
